Discarded pain

It took time for the scab to form on her injured heart but eventually, the process had started. She needed some time to realise that her present suffering was the outcome of her memories and imagination.

Staying away from things that currently aren’t happening and living in the moment had worked wonders in overlooking the discomfort of her sore heart.

She was a believer in step-by-step procedures. But, the time had come to let go of the order and she took a leap to retrieve the control of her unwarranted feelings.

It was paradoxical how she was emotionally rescued and how the roadblocks and resistance were lifted the moment she became conscious of her present surroundings.

She started practising mindfulness and permitted all her dark emotions to flow out to detox her mind and soul. It had therapeutic effects on her bruised soul. And just like that, the way he had discarded her emotions, she too discarded the pain.
