Relationship deficits

He had cracked open her heart brimming with love and passion that made her turn a blind eye towards the deficits.

But once her feral emotions for him were reigned, the shortfall in their connection became apparent.

The ambiguity and no-expectations that were decorating their togetherness were also highlighting the discrepancies between them.

The small talks, lesser emotional-attachment, limited time together, absence of long drawn phone conversations, etcetera, were some of the red flags that were indicating their connection going towards situationship – a spot where staying uncommitted is the only expectation.

Everything was hunky-dory till she caught feelings for him and started seeing situationship through the lens of a relationship. This ended up suspending the dynamics of her equation by swapping desirability and intimacy with indifference and anxiety.

Her spirits were not dampened by the undefined status but was damaged with how her texting had trapped her in situationship by giving her a false sense of intimacy and connection.
